Thank you for choosing Marotta Health and Wellness.
Whether you are a new patient to chiropractic or a new patient to our practice,
we feel it is our responsibility to help you understand the
process becoming a new patient in our office.
First Visit
Depending on the complexity of the condition, a new patient
examination will last approximately 30-45 minutes.
Subsequent treatment appointments typically last between 15-20
minutes. A new patient encounter includes the following:
As an added convenience, new patients can access and
complete all necessary forms prior to their first visit.
Please bring all completed forms to your first scheduled
appointment. Additionally, you should bring your current
insurance card. If you are unable to bring the completed forms with you, please
plan to arrive 15 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork. A link for the new patient packet is located below:

Scheduling
We realize that your time is valuable and respect your
schedule. We make every effort to run on time and do not overbook our
patients. We also ask that you respect your appointment time by coming on
time, or informing us in advance of a cancellation or late arrival.
Insurance
Although many insurance companies provide
chiropractic coverage, many offer only partial benefits or no benefits at
all. We are providers for several major health care networks, but it is
possible that we are not providers for your particular insurance plan. This
does not mean we cannot treat you. Many patients have out-of-network
coverage as part of their insurance plan. Prior to your first visit we
encourage you to verify your insurance benefits to fully understand your
coverage. A detailed insurance verification checklist is located here. If
you are having trouble verifying/understanding your benefits please do not
hesitate to call us for assistance. Our
cash fees are extremely reasonable if your insurance does not cover
chiropractic treatments. Again, please do not hesitate to call us if you have
any questions or concerns.
Payment
The combination of the increasing cost of health care and
the reduced benefits of many insurance plans have resulted
in the increased financial responsibility of the
patient. This comes in the form of increased
deductibles, co-payments, and co-insurance. Due to this fact,
we offer several convenient methods of payment. Payment methods include
the following:
- Flexible no-interest financing plans
Our promise: We will do our best to make sure your
insurance coverage (or lack of) does not interfere with your health care
needs and goals.
Our goal: To provide you with the best
quality care possible to maximize treatment outcome while minimizing
your time and expense.
Treatment Goals
The goals of treatment will progress through three
stages:
- Pain reduction and prevention of condition progression
- Stabilization of the condition and improvement in functional
capacity
- Prevention of recurrence through rehabilitative
exercise and personalized recommendations
Patients are released from care when they have reached
maximum medical improvement and have reached their individual treatment
goals.
